Eli Boudoir

Mountain Boudoir Photography In Southern California

Bold, intimate portraits created among striking rock formations and the natural beauty of California. For women who want boudoir photographs that feel a little more adventurous, untamed, and entirely unique.

Your power was never hidden

For the woman who wants to feel wild, powerful, feminine, and completely herself.

You simply have to be willing to try. You might surprise yourself, or uncover something about yourself, in the process.

It is time you finally saw yourself as the art you are.

You don't have to be fearless to do something bold.

There is something uniquely powerful about being photographed outdoors, surrounded by a landscape that feels expansive, rugged, and a little untamed. Rather than being enclosed inside four walls, with furniture and studio light, you can feel the fresh air on your skin surrounded by trees, rocks, hills, or stunning mountains.

Mountain boudoir is more adventurous than a typical studio session. We will walk, explore, and create photographs that incorporate the unique landscape around us. Instead of studio furniture, we will use the natural features around us: rocks, trees, hillsides, tall grass and whatever else is available at our location.

You will receive complete posing guidance with the landscape around you to interact with. Your favorite photo now has a story behind it. Maybe you had to climb over a few rocks to get into that position. Or maybe the wind caught your dress at exactly the right moment. The most captivating photographs are often created when you let go of perfection and simply enjoy the experience.

What Makes a Mountain Boudoir Session Different?

Jas, Boudoir Client

To anybody who is thinking of doing ELI Boudoir, I say DO IT. Do not hesitate. If you are a beginner and have never done something like this, I think that is more of a reason to work with Elili. She is extremely warm and inviting and never ever ever makes you feel weird or awkward for your lack of experience behind the camera.

Mountain boudoir sessions near Los Angeles take place at a variety of trails, mountain landscapes, and regional parks. We'll choose your exact location based on the scenery you're drawn to, the type of photographs you want to create, and what will make you feel comfortable during your session.

During your mountain photoshoot we will photograph up to five distinct looks. I will bring an outdoor changing tent, so you have a private place to change outfits.

When it is possible I recommend scheduling mountain boudoir sessions during quieter times, particularly on a weekday. Fewer people around means we have more freedom to explore the location and create without feeling like we’re navigating around a crowd.

Just like a studio boudoir experience, you’ll receive complete guidance throughout your session. I’ll provide a preparation guide covering everything from how to prepare to what to wear, and I’ll demonstrate every pose so you never have to wonder what to do with your body. I’ll check in throughout the shoot and make adjustments whenever necessary to ensure you’re comfortable.

Outdoor boudoir sessions can involve some walking and uneven terrain as we move between locations. If you have mobility concerns or physical limitations, please let me know before your sessions. I will take those into account when choosing your location and preparing for your experience. You will never have to push your body beyond what is comfortable for you.

We are lucky to have beautiful weather for the majority of the year in Los Angeles, but outdoor sessions are always dependent on conditions. If the weather is not safe or workable for your session we will reschedule rather than risk our safety.

Your Mountain Boudoir Experience

Reserve your Experience

Mountain boudoir provides a lot of freedom regarding what you can wear. Some of my favorites are lingerie with cowboy boots, long satin dresses, flowing dresses, bodysuits, denim, oversized jackets or sweaters paired with panties, and sheer fabrics. Earth tones also complement the natural landscape beautifully.

Bring a comfortable pair of shoes for walking between locations even if you want to photograph in heels or barefoot.

Your outfits do not need to follow a specific theme. Each look can be completely unique, ranging from soft and sensual to bold and edgy.

I recommend bringing one outfit that feels a little intimidating at the moment. Whether you choose to put this outfit on is entirely up to you. My clients often surprise themselves with how comfortable they become once the session starts. So if that ends up being true for you, I want you to have the outfit there to reach for.

What to wear for mountain boudoir

I know you can especially with my guidance every step of the experience. You will start to realize that you can nail your photoshoot throughout the shoot itself, but it really click during your private reveal.

“I don't know if I can pull this off.”

If you wait to do this experience until you feel sexy or confident, you will be waiting forever. Throughout your boudoir experience you will start to feel more connected to yourself and truly see yourself. Boudoir is how you start to change your internal dialogue.

“I don't feel sexy.”

This is a totally fair valid concern. That is why outdoor shoot sare primarily scheduled during the week and at quiet, more secluded locations.

“I'm worried people will see me.”

Nor have the women you see in my photographs. You do not need any prior experience. I will provide a detailed guide that will help you prepare and decide what outfits you want to bring.

“I've never done anything like this.”

You don't need to know how to pose because I will demonstrate every pose so you don't have to worry about anything.

"I don't know how to pose."

What if I'm nervous?

Good. The ELI Boudoir philosophy is that everyone deserves to fully see themselves and illuminate sides of who you are that often hide beneath the surface.

There are no requirements to seeing yourself. You do not need to be a size two. To be active. To already be confident. Or to be 100% positive that this experience is for you.

You simply have to be ready to bet on yourself. To want to see what others see when they look at you.

What if I am not a size two? Or I Am not in my thirties? or I Am not confident?

~ Triv, Boudoir Client

She is incredibly fun, encouraging, and has a way of making you feel completely comfortable and confident in front of the camera without ever feeling awkward or self-conscious. Her energy is so warm and positive that it feels like spending time with a friend rather than being in a photoshoot.

If you're considering a session with her and feeling nervous about it, Elili is exactly the kind of photographer you want. She creates a safe, empowering space where you can truly be yourself and feel your best. I can't recommend her enough! ✨🖤

Your mountain boudoir experience begins with a $750 session fee, which covers the photography experience. This includes pre-shoot planning, professional make-up, wardrobe guidance, and your fully guided photoshoot.

After your session, you will choose the photographs and artwork you love. What you take home is entirely up to you. ELI Boudoir does not have mandatory minimum purchases. Most of my clients invest $3,000 and $6,000 on photographs, artwork, and heirloom albums.
